About Me
Hello! I’m Alex – Huemen Media’s proud owner, photographer, videographer, editor, accounts guy, marketing chump, client liaison officer, cleaner and 6x employee of the year. Outside of weddings I’m generally pretty shy and private so here’s me in a nutshell:
I love mountains (big and small), Jimi Hendrix, football (or ‘soccer’), hard hitting doco’s, chocolate (everything) and dogs (especially rescued greyhounds).
I’m kind, hard working and fun loving by nature. I’ve been shooting weddings for seven years now. Once upon a time the thought of being a ‘wedding tog’ terrified me. Now I get a real kick out of them. Finding new and increasingly outrageous ways to make bridal crews laugh is a favourite game of mine. Delivering the goods and blowing couples away is what I live for!
I regard each and every wedding as an opportunity to advance my craft. More importantly though, your wedding is my chance to document and preserve memories you’ll treasure for ever!
The word that best describes my style of imagery would be ‘soulful’.
LGBQTI weddings, destination weddings (interstate and overseas), intimate weddings and elopements are all welcome :)
When I’m not capturing people in love, I proactively seek to work with businesses, organisations and individuals whose work and mantra respects and nourishes the natural environment and the communities they interact with.
